They also have a pond with pretty lily pads and lilies.
There's also a statue of Saint Francis of Assisi. (He's the one in the background.)
So, during part of our walk around the grounds, we came upon this interesting scene. We recently saw Toy Story 3 and this Piglet toy tied to the truck made us think of the movie. I guess people really do do this kind of thing. Interesting.
Forest Park is also home to the nation's first Korean War Memorial.
Since we were unable to go into The Jewel Box, we journey over to the Muny.
I just have to sing, "Meet me at The Muny, The Muny at Forest Park!" The Muny is the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theater. During the summer months, The Muny houses musical performances. There are even seating sections that you can sit in for free.
The Pavilion. (I'm noticing a lot of these structures begin with "The".) This is a common location for wedding/engagement pictures.

There is also a man-made waterfall. You're very lucky we didn't get a close-up picture of what we saw sunbathing in the waterfall. It was pretty disturbing.
This is a man that we saw earlier on our journey texting and driving his scooter. Here he pulled over on the side of the road.
This is a statue outside of the St. Louis Zoo. The zoo is free to the public and it's a pretty good zoo. We might adventure there one of these days when it's not a ba-zillion degrees.
Our adventure also brought us to The Union Station. It was once the world's largest and busiest train stations. It is now home to a hotel, a shopping mall, restaurants and a food court.
It's also home to The Fudgery. Here the workers sing a few songs as they make the fudge. The singing was actually pretty good. Don't know about the fudge, we were good and didn't partake of any.

We had a guest adventurer with us, meet Mary's sister, Amelia! Here we are listening to the whispers of Mary and Christina. Let me tell ya, it was juicy stuff they were telling us!
