The Science of Cupcakes

So many changes in the last month! Christina moved to Utah and I (Mary) moved to Rolla MO (you would need a magnifing glass to find it on the map). Luckily Rolla is only a 1 1/2 hour drive to St. Louis, so Karen and I can still explore St. Louis and have a little fun!
This month we decided to go to the St. Louis Science Center and the to The Cup, for some delicious cupcakes :)

Karen and her new friend the turtle.

A stuffed beaver. Me showing the beaver my teeth.

Karen and my sister, Katie, looking at some living science 3D posters.
Katie and I with our 3D glasses.

The internet since 1969...interesting and also quite scary!
That is quite the rapid development.

Karen digging around the mini-ball pit.

Me trying to focus...

The bridge over Hwy. 40...Karen took quite a few pictures trying to get a car passing underneath her feet...finally a winner!

I'm a little teapot...even without Christina we are reminded of her...Utah!

New Year's Eve 2010

To end 2010, we went to First Night St. Louis. We spent a couple of hours taking in the sites and having fun. It was a cold windy night, but that didn't dampen our spirits! We were ready to say Good-bye 2010, Hello 2011! What we were not ready to do was say good-bye to Christina! First Night was our last evening as the Flower Trio, as Christina moved to Utah after the New Year. We made sure we had some fun and danced in the street!

Christina outside the Fox theater. Street performer- as this performer started down the street a group of kids started skipping around him and stopped him. It was really random!

Christina making a wish for 2011. Mary and Christina. The post-it wish wall...it became an underwater scene as the night wore on.

Chilled to the bone, but happy after a fun night!

Maybe the best part of the night...donuts from The Donut House at 1am! Yum!
