City Museum

(Posted by Karen). We started our day off with breakfast at The Rooster Cafe. It was recently voted as "best breakfast in St. Louis" and "best new restaurant".

It was pretty good.

For this adventure we had 2 guests! My sister, Diane and my niece, Alexis.

The City Museum is housed in a former shoe factory. It's basically a playground for children and adults. The "playground" is made up of old construction materials, old chimneys, abandoned planes and salvaged bridges, and more.

Diane is slightly claustrophobic and acrophobic, so she was our photographer.

Lexi. She was a little leary about climbing around. With some coaxing from her new pals, Mary & Christina, she was able to conquer her fears.

Mary looks like she got in trouble.
